Frequiently Asked Questions
If I get injured during training do you offer any refunds?
Yes, we do. We include injury insurance in all of our plans This allows clients who are unable to continue training due to injury the ability to credit their purchase towards another race or freeze your month plan. We'll pick training back up at the point you were injured.
What's the difference between Personal Coaching and Race Specific Coaching?
Personal Coaching includes much more interaction with your coach than Race Specific Coaching. The most notable differences are weekly phone contact with coach, long term planning with workouts given in two week intervals adjusting as needed.
How do I know which tailor-made training plan to choose (8, 12, 18, 24)?
It depends on a few factors. What's your current level of fitness? What's the distance of the race and how much time until the race? Generally speaking, for beginners I would suggest at a minimum: 6 weeks for 5k, 12 weeks for 10k, 18 weeks for 1/2 marathon and 24 weeks for a marathon. Contact us and we can help find the best plan for you.
Is there a minimum level of running competency needed?
No. We've designed plans for people who haven't run a step before. We'll help get you started and become comfortable with running. During the initial consultation we can help set realistic expectations.
