Head Coach


Cory Smith

Elite runner and coach for over 25 years.

Cory holds a USA Track & Field Level 1 and 2 Endurance Certification. His training methodologies evolved from a mentorship with world-renowned coach & four-time Olympian Marcus O'Sullivan.

His personal bests include a 4:03 mile, 8:05 3k, 14:13 5k and a 1:10:28 half marathon at age 36.

Brandon Birdsong

Elite runner and coach for over 15 years.

Brandon holds a BS in exercise physiology. He has been mentored by the world's best distance coaches, including Damon Martin, 30-time winner of National Coach of the Year.

He is a 2016 Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier and holds personal bests of 29:54 10k and 1:04:21 half marathon.

Julie Tertin

Highly decorated ultra runner and ultra coach

Julie has finished over 50 ultramarathons, including four 200 milers and several 100 milers. She regularly writes for Ultrarunning magazine, volunteers at races, and hosts running events in Albuquerque.

She has four 1st place overall female finishes, course records and is one of eight women who completed the Ouray 100 



Alice Baker

Elite runner and coach for over 10 years.

Alice is a former D1 collegiate runner with over seven years working in the running industry. While competing at the University of San Francisco, she excelled in cross country and on the track in the 1500 meter to 10k. 

Her personal bests include a 16:48 5K, 35:34 10K, and 1:22:00 half marathon.

Your coach learns about your goals and experience, and then builds a custom training plan for you in a user-friendly running app. This plan is designed to fit your lifestyle and tailored to help you meet your running goals.


You follow your schedule and track runs in the app, and your coach monitors your progress and adjusts your training as necessary. You’ll also have access via phone, email or text to ask questions as they arise. 

The result is a true 1-to-1 coaching experience that ensures you have the accountability and support you need to succeed.
