4. How We Use AI Tools
We believe in being transparent about our use of artificial intelligence. Here is how AI fits into our work:
What we use We use Claude (made by Anthropic), a large language model, to support certain aspects of our coaching and business operations. This may include:
-
Analyzing training patterns and generating ideas for plan adjustments
-
Drafting or editing client communications
-
Research, content drafting, and administrative tasks
How we protect your information
-
Our Claude account is configured so that submitted data is not used to train AI models.
-
We do not include client names, contact information, or other personally identifying details when using AI tools. Information shared with AI tools is kept general (e.g., "45-year-old marathoner with a history of plantar fasciitis") rather than identifiable.
-
All training plans, coaching decisions, and client communications are reviewed and approved by a human coach before being delivered to you.
-
AI is a supporting tool, not a replacement for the human coaching relationship. You always work with a real coach.
What this means for you You benefit from faster analysis and more thorough plan development, while your identity and personal details remain protected. If you have concerns or preferences about AI use in your coaching, let us know and we'll accommodate reasonable requests.
5. Client Testimonials and Publicly Shared Stories
From time to time we share client progress, stories, or results publicly (e.g., on our website, social media, podcast, or blog) to inspire other runners and showcase coaching outcomes.
-
With identifying details (name, photo, specific results): We share only with your explicit written permission.
-
Without identifying details (anonymized): We may share general patterns, anonymized scenarios, or aggregate insights. In these cases, no names, photos, or details that could reasonably identify you are included.
You may opt out of being featured in any form by emailing cory@runyourpersonalbest.com.
